5 arrested in reference to San Jose dwelling housebreaking

SAN JOSE — A Halloween morning housebreaking at a West San Jose dwelling ended within the arrest of 5 individuals, police stated.

The suspects left the scene in a automobile earlier than officers arrived, however officers used automated license plate reader cameras to establish and monitor down the automobile, Shih stated.

Officers stopped the automobile outdoors a house within the 100 block of Muirfield Drive. A search of the automobile turned up a stolen rifle, a privately made handgun and property stolen within the housebreaking, in addition to proof associated to different burglaries, Shih stated.

Three occupants — a 55-year-old man, a 41-year-old girl and a 32-year-old girl, all of San Jose — had been arrested on suspicion of housebreaking and booked into Santa Clara County jail, Shih stated.
