A dozen folks had been injured when a tree fell on a Diablo Valley Faculty soccer area throughout a commencement graduation ceremony Friday night.
The incident occurred at 6:54 p.m. towards the tip of the ceremony in Nice Hill, in accordance with a press release from the faculty.
A tree fell adjoining to the soccer area, and bystanders who had been watching the ceremony had been hit by the tree. It’s not instantly clear what triggered the tree to fall down.
