Reiterating to “establish peace and not buy it in J&K”, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday (December 11, 2025) mentioned his administration “will reopen all terror-related cases to ensure justice in the Union Territory (UT)”.
Mr. Sinha made the assertion whereas handing over appointment letters to 41 relations of victims of terrorism within the Jammu division and pledged to ship justice in such circumstances.
“Terror victim families were left to struggle in silence for decades. Justice was denied to these families. The deep scars were never healed. Such families are now being recognised, respected and rehabilitated,” Mr. Sinha mentioned.
The Lieutenant Governor mentioned that underneath the management of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister Shri Amit Shah we’re dismantling the whole terror ecosystem.
