Volkswagen is recalling greater than 60,000 U.S. automobiles in response to a failure to show the gear place that might result in a car rolling away if the parking brake just isn’t engaged, rising the danger of crashes.

The U.S. Nationwide Freeway Visitors Security Administration made the announcement on Saturday, impacting 60,490 electrical automobiles.

The affected automobiles embrace sure 2021-2023 Volkswagen ID.4 in addition to 2022-2023 Audi This autumn e-Tron and This autumn e-Tron Sportback automobiles, the NHTSA mentioned.
