Virginia Democrats maintain state Senate seat in Loudon County

Virginia Del. Kannan Srinivasan (D) has defeated Republican Tumay Harding within the particular election to fill the seat representing the state Senate’s thirty second District, in keeping with Choice Desk HQ.

The win ensures that Democrats will keep their majority within the state Senate. 

The seat was beforehand held by Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (D-Va.), who was elected to Virginia’s tenth Congressional District in November.
