“The mosaic presents groundbreaking physical evidence of the practices and beliefs of early Christians, including the first archaeological instance of the phrase, ‘God Jesus Christ,’” Alegre Savariego, curator of the exhibition on behalf of the IAA, stated within the launch. 

Footage exhibits an animation of what the traditional website would have appeared like with the mosaics pieced collectively, the mosaic’s inscriptions and a rendering of the constructing during which the mosaics would have been within the third century. (See the video on the prime of this text.)
