Unarmed troopers rushed a fellow service member who allegedly opened fireplace at Fort Stewart in Georgia, Military Secretary Dan Driscoll mentioned Thursday. 5 troopers have been wounded within the taking pictures, and the suspect, a sergeant on the Military base, is in custody.
“They were unarmed and ran at and tackled an armed person who they knew was actively shooting their buddies, their colleagues, their fellow soldiers,” Driscoll informed reporters Thursday morning.
The suspect, recognized as Sgt. Quornelius Radford, is being held in pretrial custody awaiting costs. “It’s our training that kicked in,” Arnold informed reporters. “Mine kicked in, and you just go to work.”
