U.S. Government Bond Yields Slide After Jobs Data

Investors drove yields on U.S. government bonds to multimonth lows Friday, with worries about tighter monetary policy and the Omicron variant weighing on expectations for economic growth.

The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note finished Friday’s session at 1.342%, according to Tradeweb. That is down from 1.447% at Thursday’s close and the lowest closing yield since Sept. 22.
