Two arrested in alleged Redwood Metropolis rug store heist

REDWOOD CITY — Two males have been arrested final week on suspicion of stealing lots of of hundreds of {dollars} value of merchandise from a Redwood Metropolis rug store, based on authorities.

The alleged heist occurred June 1 on the Medallion Rug Gallery, situated at 370 Conference Manner. The Redwood Metropolis Police Division mentioned no less than three suspects have been caught on digicam stealing quite a lot of objects valued at $150,000 to $200,000.

Officers recognized two of the suspects as residents of Redwood Metropolis, ages 40 and 32. The 40-year-old man was arrested on June 3 and the 32-year-old man on June 4.

A “substantial amount of stolen property” was additionally recovered, based on authorities.

The third suspect stays at giant.

The suspects have been booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on prices together with industrial housebreaking and conspiracy to commit against the law. Each had prior theft convictions, police mentioned.
