Early Wednesday morning, masked ICE brokers barrelled out of a Penske truck to raid a Los Angeles Residence Depot for immigrants.

A federal choose issued an order final month halting racial profiling and using roving patrols to focus on immigrants, however now that appears to be thrown to the wayside. In keeping with the U.S. Border Patrol El Centro Sector Chief Greg Bovino, they’re “not leaving.”

An artwork set up shows the names and faces of people that have been detained and deported throughout ICE raids in Southern California.

The Penske truck assault was dubbed “Operation Trojan Horse” by Bovino and resulted within the arrest of 16 immigrants.

“For those who thought immigration enforcement had stopped in Southern California, think again,” Invoice Essayli, performing U.S. lawyer for Central California, posted on X. “The enforcement of federal law is not negotiable, and there are no sanctuaries from the reach of the federal government.”

However Penske decried using their autos after movies started to go viral.

“Penske Truck Rental is aware of recent reports and videos regarding a Department of Homeland Security in Los Angeles,” the corporate shared in a press release. “Penske strictly prohibits the transportation of people in the cargo area of its vehicles under any circumstances. The company was not made aware that its trucks would be used in today’s operation and did not authorize this. Penske will reach out to DHS and reinforce its policy to avoid improper use of its vehicle in the future.”

The raid is paying homage to previous assaults in Los Angeles, when ICE infiltrated workplaces, taco stands, Residence Depots, and areas with a big Latino inhabitants. And whereas the Trump administration has repeatedly claimed that it’s concentrating on the “worst of the worst,” reviews present that individuals with no prison information are being detained.

Numerous movies have circulated displaying ICE brokers aggressively grabbing employees like Narcisco Barranco, who was doing his job as a landscaper in Santa Ana when 7 masked brokers jumped out of unmarked autos and beat him.

In one other occasion, a pregnant lady—who’s a U.S. citizen—was seemingly manhandled by ICE brokers throughout an immigrant raid. Regardless of telling them she was a U.S. citizen, they refused to cease.

“I crouched down and held my belly because I was scared they would hurt me. … Three agents were grabbing me and trying to handcuff me. I was afraid that they were going to hurt me,” she stated.

No matter decrease judicial orders, the Division of Justice is doubling down on its assault in opposition to sanctuary cities like Los Angeles.

On Tuesday, the DOJ introduced a listing of 35 “sanctuary” jurisdictions, vowing to carry lawsuits in opposition to states, counties, and cities that restrict native cooperation with ICE brokers.

Trump and his goons appear intent on concentrating on anybody they need, it doesn’t matter what judges need to say about it.
