President-elect Trump returned to Washington Saturday night, after boarding a particular mission Air Drive airplane for his historic return after 4 years.
Trump and spouse Melania and their youngest son, Barron, launched into their journey from West Palm Seaside, Florida, to the nation’s capital, waving to crowds earlier than ascending the steps.
Trump marked his return to energy with a celebration at his Trump Nationwide Golf Membership in Sterling, Virginia, about 30 miles outdoors Washington.
He addressed the group, giving shoutouts to Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and declaring his Mideast envoy Steve Witkoff a “great negotiator.” Witkoff this previous week helped negotiate a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas that’s scheduled to take impact on Sunday.
Quickly after his remarks, Trump stepped out onto a clubhouse balcony whereas visitors gathered on the patio under him for a fireworks show and efficiency by tenor Christopher Macchio.

Hours earlier, Trump and his household landed in Sterling, Virginia, the place they met with Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin and first girl Suzanne Youngkin at Trump Nationwide Golf Membership.
Youngkin welcomed the president-elect and first girl to be Melania Trump on the membership, presenting them with a stately reward.

Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, joined the president-elect on the journey.
Trump’s center son, Eric, and daughter-in-law, Lara, departed Florida individually on the president-elect’s non-public airplane.

His rapid household, together with spouse Lara and youngsters Luke and Carolina, joined him on the journey to D.C.
Eric Trump wrote that “every ounce of [his] fight” has been for his kids and the way forward for their technology.
“This time, America won,” he added.
“Against all odds, we did it—together, with the incredible people of this nation and the greatest political movement in history,” Eric Trump wrote. “I’ve never been prouder of anyone than I am of [Donald Trump]. He stood unwavering, truly having the courage of steel. Our country is in great hands. The madness is over. America is in an age of renewal.”

On Sunday, Trump will attend a wreath-laying ceremony on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington Nationwide Cemetery and a “Make America Great Again” rally, adopted by a candlelit dinner.
The inauguration will happen at midday Monday within the Capitol Rotunda because of frigid temperatures within the forecast. Then Trump, simply the second president in historical past to win non-consecutive phrases, will give his inaugural tackle.

Hours earlier than the Trump household boarded the airplane Saturday, hundreds of protesters descended on the streets of Washington, D.C., to protest.
The “People’s March,” initially known as the “Women’s March,” had three assembly places, every championing a special trigger.
Some subjects included “gender justice,” democracy and immigration and native Washington points.
