Stock Futures Waver Ahead of Inflation Data

U.S. stock futures were mixed ahead of inflation figures and an update on the number of Americans applying for unemployment benefits.

S&P 500 futures traded broadly flat and Dow Jones Industrial Average futures gained 0.2%. Contracts on the tech-heavy Nasdaq-100 slipped 0.3% Changes in equity futures don’t necessarily predict moves after the markets open.
