U.S. stock futures wavered, and Tesla shares fell in premarket trading after Chief Executive Elon Musk asked Twitter users if he should sell some of his stock.

Futures for the S&P 500 edged up less than 0.1% Monday. The broad market index hit a record high Friday after Labor Department data showed job growth rebounded in October. Contracts for the tech-focused Nasdaq-100 edged down less than 0.1% Monday, and futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.2%.
