San Jose police investigating seventh visitors fatality of the 12 months

SAN JOSE – A driver hit and killed a pedestrian over the weekend in San Jose, based on authorities.

Medical personnel pronounced the pedestrian, a person, lifeless on the scene. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Workplace will launch his id after it’s confirmed and his subsequent of kin is notified.

A preliminary investigation revealed a person was driving a crimson 2009 Kia sedan southbound on Almaden Expressway when he hit the pedestrian, based on Garibay.

The driving force remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Alcohol and medicines didn’t seem to play a task, Garibay stated.

The demise marked the seventh visitors fatality of 2025 on metropolis streets. Police had investigated 10 roadway deaths right now final 12 months.
