Santa Clara Valley Together with San Jose and Jap Santa Clara Hills are underneath an up to date climate alert for robust showers and small hail by the Nationwide Climate Service on Thursday at 12:28 p.m. The alert is till 1 p.m.

Wind gusts of as much as 30 mph and pea-sized hail (0.25 inches) are possible.

“At 12:28 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong shower near Gilroy, moving southeast at 10 mph,” states the NWS San Francisco CA. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.”

The alert is for Gilroy and San Martin.

The NWS mentioned, “Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.”
