Tony Lucente Jr., 64, of Clarksburg, WV handed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital along with his household by his facet. Born July 22, 1960, in Clarksburg, Tony was the son of the late Tony “Tubby” Lucente and Sara Agatha “Gay” Newlon Lucente.
A proud 1978 graduate of Liberty Excessive College, Tony owned and operated Tubby’s Café in Summit Park since 2002 and had served as a Harrison County College Bus Driver since 2014. He had a deep ardour for vintage vehicles—particularly his beloved 1964 Ford Falcon “Sweet Pea”—and loved boating, driving Harleys, curler coasters, and holidays to Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains. His intensive Diecast assortment was a supply of satisfaction each on the café and at residence. He attended each Horizons and Jewel Metropolis Church.
He’s survived by his loving spouse of 25 years, Kathryn Ann Ours Lucente; 5 youngsters: Vincent (Erica), Samantha (James Finley), Nicholas, Jonathan (SheBeck), and Aberielle Lucente; a number of grandchildren; and his brother, Frank Lucente (Cindy). He additionally leaves behind quite a few nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with his mother and father, Tony was preceded in loss of life by his brother, Timothy “Timmy” Lucente, and sister, Deborah Lucente OShaughnessy.
Visitation might be held at Davis Funeral Residence, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and once more on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM till the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Midday, officiated by Pastor Robert Shingleton and Pastor Quint Pitts.
