President Biden praises Jimmy Carter as ‘extraordinary chief’ after his demise

President Joe Biden on Sunday referred to as Jimmy Carter “an extraordinary leader, statesman and humanitarian” as he joined the refrain of condolences following the thirty ninth president’s demise.

“With his compassion and moral clarity, he worked to eradicate disease, forge peace, advance civil rights and human rights, promote free and fair elections, house the homeless, and always advocate for the least among us,” Biden wrote. “He saved, lifted, and altered the lives of individuals all throughout the globe. He was a person of nice character and braveness, hope and optimism. We are going to at all times cherish seeing him and Rosalynn collectively.
