Worldwide Longshoreman’s Affiliation (ILA) President Harold Daggett has jumped into the nationwide highlight as he heads up negotiations for the union in its strike at ports throughout the U.S.

Based on Daggett’s biography on the ALI web site, he was first elected president of the union in 2011, and is at present serving in his fourth four-year time period on the helm after working greater than 60 years within the trade.
