Only thing voters hate more than socialism is Biden’s government

OPINION:

America, you have been mugged.

At least 12 major U.S. cities have recorded their highest murder rates in history. As of Dec. 7, Philadelphia recorded 523 murders, eclipsing the city’s previous record of 500 murders in 1990.

“It’s terrible to every morning get up and have to go look at the numbers and then look at the news and see the stories,” Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney was quoted saying.

“It’s just crazy,” he added. “It’s just crazy, and this needs to stop.”

Other cities notching record murder rates for the year include Columbus, Ohio; Louisville, Kentucky; St. Paul, Minnesota; Tucson, Arizona; and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The list goes on.

The single common thread running through all these cities is that they are run by Democrat politicians like Jim Kenney. Every one of these cities has been a petri dish of Democrat policies — many of them for decades.

And if you think the Democrat policies that killed so many thousands of Americans thus far are bad, just wait until you see their solutions to fix the violence.

Spring violent criminals from prisons. Ignore rampant crime. Defund the police. Prosecute innocent citizens for defending themselves against the violence.

In many ways, it is poetic justice that President Biden is in the White House to preside over all of this. Just as historic murder rates across the country are the direct result of Democrat policies going back decades, Mr. Biden is the face of the Democratic Party in Washington — for 50 years!

Mr. Biden and his party own every bit of all the misery beset upon our country over the past year.

Heinous crime. Staggering inflation. Gas prices. Racial hatred. Broken supply chain. Open borders. Every bit of it is owned entirely by Mr. Biden and his party.

And what, you might ask, is the Democrats’ response to all of this as they head into their miserable, doomed elections of 2022?

Jan. 6!

Insurrection!

Roger Stone (who was not there)!

These people are psycho, along with the hate merchants in the press who peddle all their psycho nonsense and present it as actual news. You would think after five years of peddling verifiable lies and fantasies, these people might go back to the sewers from which they emerged.

But there is hope that Democrats are finally being exposed as the psycho frauds they are.

Last week, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told The Washington Times’ Kerry Picket that crime isn’t really happening around the country. At least she has the decency to lie about it and pretend it doesn’t exist.

Meanwhile, Victor Jimenez, the former spokesman for D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, switched parties.

“Biden turned me into a Republican,” said the man who once spoke for the Democrat mayor of the most Democrat city in the country. Also, Mr. Jimenez added, Mr. Biden “destroyed the economy.”

And then there is this: New polling shows Americans still hate socialism. But there is a new twist as more and more Democrat politicians embrace socialism.

While Americans still hate socialism, there is something that polling shows that Americans hate even more than socialism: the United States federal government.

So, the only thing worse than socialism is a government run by Mr. Biden and his lousy Democrats.

Let’s go, Brandon!
