New Christian values index fund for evangelical traders created by funding agency, S&P

A faith-based funding agency partnered with S&P Dow Jones Indices to create a brand new index and trade traded fund (ETF) that may cater to evangelical Christian traders.

Bountiful Monetary and S&P Dow Jones collaborated to create the S&P 500 Christian Values Screened Index, which the companies introduced as the primary in a set of indices tailor-made for evangelical Christian traders.

“We are proud to empower Christian investors around the world to live with greater integrity by aligning their investments with their values,” stated David Friedman, head of Christian funding options at Bountiful Monetary. “The launch of this flagship Index in collaboration with S&P DJI underscores our commitment to democratizing faith-driven investing.”

The brand new Christian values index fund will display out firms primarily based on their involvement in actions like abortion, stem cell analysis, grownup leisure, predatory lending, leisure hashish, playing, tobacco and violent video video games.

The funding agency is planning to launch ETFs and different monetary merchandise that monitor the S&P 500 Christian Values Screened Index later this 12 months.

Bountiful Monetary CEO Reid Steadman stated the brand new index is the “product of a year of thoughtful collaboration with S&P DJI,” including that, “In a world where values matter more than ever, Christian investors deserve tools that support both their financial and spiritual goals.”

Bountiful Monetary has beforehand created a number of thematic index funds, together with indexes oriented across the values of the Roman Catholic and Latter-Day Saints faiths.

Cameron Drinkwater, chief product officer at S&P Dow Jones Indices, stated that the agency “is pleased to collaborate with Bountiful Financial to expand our faith-based indices, which are designed for market participants seeking tools to align their religious beliefs with their investing strategies.”
