Native Man who Served in U.S. Military, Nationwide Guard, and was First Responder, Richard Moore, Passes

Richard Allen Moore 64, of Grafton handed away Monday, Could 19, 2025 at Grafton Metropolis Hospital, together with his loving household by his facet. He was born January 10, 1961 in Farmington, son of the late Richard “Rooster” Moore and Eleanor Mahaney Moore who survives him. Richard is survived by his spouse, Joyce Brown Moore, whom he married on September 25, 1993 spending over thirty-one years collectively.

 

Richard graduated from Fairview Excessive Faculty, Class of 1979. He was proud to have served within the Military and Nationwide Guard. He was a member of the Farmington Fireplace Division all the time keen to assist when he may. He was a truck driver for a few years touring via many states. Richard was an lively member of the 304 Jeep Membership all the time sharing tales with different Jeep fanatic. He liked his household greater than something, spending time together with his grandchildren was his best pleasure.

 

Along with his mom and spouse, Richard is survived by two youngsters, Angela Moore Cline and Richard Moore II; seven grandchildren, Owen Smith, Shyanne Smith, Savannah Moore, Jaxen Moore, Autumn Moore, Aleigh Moore and Ryleigh Moore; father in-law, Philip Brown; brother in-law, Philip Keith Brown (Kim); sister in-law, Jennifer Brown Poling (Gary); particular nieces and nephews, Justine Brown, Whitney Poling Dillon (Cody), Sarah Brown, Ashnee Patel, Laken Dillon, Paisley Dillon, Brandy Miller, Melissa Schiffbauer, Andrew Schiffbauer and Joseph Hess; many cousins and buddies.

 

Along with his father, Richard is preceded in dying by one son, Joshua Allen Moore; grandparents, Ralph and Edith Moore, and Leslie and Ethel Mahaney; sister, Cindy L. Moore Phillips; mom in-law, Dottie Lou Brown; a particular nephew, Connor Douglas Poling.

 

The household want to thank West Virginia Caring Hospice and Grafton Metropolis Hospital for the extraordinary care they gave Richard and the Taylor County Healthcare Middle for his or her love and assist.

 

Household and buddies shall be acquired at Bartlett Funeral House, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Thursday Could 22, 2025 from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM and Friday Could 23, 2025 from 9:00 AM till 11:00 AM the hour of the funeral with Pastor Austin Lynch officiating. Interment will observe on the Haymond Cemetery with full navy honors accorded by the US Military Camp Dawson Honor Guard and the Taylor County Honor Guard.
