Morgan Wallen Pleads Responsible, Sentenced to Week of Incarceration

Morgan Wallen pleaded responsible to a pair of misdemeanor counts in a Nashville courtroom on Thursday, December 12… following an April incident throughout which he threw a chair off the sixth-floor balcony of Eric Church’s bar, Chief’s.

“Mr. Wallen has cooperated fully with authorities throughout these last eight months, directly communicating and apologizing to all involved. Mr. Wallen remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation,” his lawyer Worrick Robinson IV stated in an announcement to after the punishment was doled out.

On the day of his arrest, Nashville police stated two cops have been standing in entrance of Chief’s Bar after they watched a chair, seemingly hurled by Wallen, fall from the rooftop to avenue stage.

“Morgan is generally a nice, fun person to hang out with, but when he gets going he doesn’t know when to stop,” a supply advised Folks Journal months in the past, including:

Additionally, in 2020, he was arrested on public intoxication and disorderly conduct fees after being kicked out of Child Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville.

Nonetheless, Wallen’s newest album spent 16 weeks on the high of the Billboard 200 in 2023 and was the most-consumed album in the USA final 12 months.
