Miniature Bible might be placed on show for company to learn the Christmas story

Pull out your magnifying glass when you’ve got any hope of studying the unique Christmas story in a miniature Bible occurring show within the U.Okay.

The Bible, which dates again to roughly 1911, measures 1.9 by 1.3 inches — so small it will probably comfortably match within the palm of your hand.

The tiny Bible made headlines throughout the COVID lockdowns when it was first found and “is thought to be one of the smallest examples of its kind anywhere in the world,” in response to SWNS.

Leeds Central Library is displaying a sequence of “captivating Christmas classics” alongside the mini textual content.

“Christmas has been such a central part of many memorable stories for generations now, and it’s so special to gather these items together and bring back some cherished memories for visitors,” Rhian Isaac, senior librarian, advised SWNS.

“We’re hoping seeing them in person will give visitors a little glimpse into how Christmas has been celebrated in the past and help them to get in the festive spirit, too.”

The free exhibition will even present nineteenth century editions of Charles Dickens tales, together with the vacation basic, “A Christmas Carol.”

The library will even be displaying a e book of kids’s Christmas video games referred to as “Mince Pies for Christmas,” which dates again to 1812.

The e book is crammed with an assortment of riddles and vacation video games that declare “to exercise the ingenuity of all sensible masters and misses,” SWNS added.

The e book even has markings from the kids who as soon as owned the e book and performed the video games throughout Christmases over 200 years in the past.
