Mimecast Explores Options Including a Possible Sale

Email-security software maker Mimecast Ltd. is exploring a possible sale, according to people familiar with the matter.

Mimecast, which has a market value of about $4.5 billion, is working with bankers to consider options including a sale or taking a big investment, the people said. The process is at an early stage and there is no guarantee it will result in a deal.
