James Charles “Chuck” Paugh, 78, of Bridgeport handed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 within the Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Clarksburg on December 9, 1946, a son of the late James Lee “Jimmy” Paugh and Ruth Frye Keller.
He’s survived by his spouse, Mary Kay McDonald Paugh, whom he married on December 30, 1969.
Additionally surviving are one daughter, Marissa Ann Kiddy of Key West, FL; two grandsons, James Paugh-Navaretta and Cameron Patrick Kiddy; one brother, William “Billy” Keller of Clarksburg; and a number of other nieces and nephews.
He was additionally preceded in dying by one son, James Claude Paugh; one sister, Barbara (Vince) Patton; one brother, Jerry W. Paugh and his spouse Roberta; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Claude and Maxine McDonald.
Mr. Paugh was a graduate of Salem Faculty and was a United States Military and Military Nationwide Guard veteran. He was a former investigator with the WV DOH with 12 years of service retiring in 2007, was beforehand a loss prevention director for Heck’s Division Retailer East Coast with 23 years of service and was a former Harrison County Deputy. He was co-owner together with his spouse, Mary Kay of the Steak Escape Restaurant from 1994 till 2005 on the Meadowbrook Mall.
Chuck was a member of the Christian Meeting Church and was previously a youth chief for 12 years on the Broad Oaks United Methodist Church, the place he additionally served on the board of administrators and was previous president.
