Peel Regional Police say a person has been shot in an officer-involved capturing at Toronto Pearson Airport on Thursday morning.

The capturing occurred outdoors Terminal 1 at round 7 a.m. Police mentioned the officer was not damage.

“This is an isolated incident and there are no known threats to public safety,” police mentioned.

The SIU acts because the province’s police watchdog and investigates numerous incidents resembling officer-involved shootings.
