A person has been arrested after stories of an individual carrying knives exterior the Homes of Parliament, police have stated.
Police have been referred to as to the scene simply after 2pm at present the place they arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
No accidents have been reported and the realm round Carriage Gates – one of the crucial distinguished entrances to the Palace of Westminster – was cordoned off.
A parliament spokesperson stated: ”We’re conscious of an incident exterior Carriage Gates. Parliamentary safety and the Metropolitan Police are current and managing the scenario.”
