Los Gatos, Saratoga excessive college students create creative ‘Dreamscapes’

The art work of a number of college students from Saratoga and Los Gatos excessive colleges will likely be featured in a dreamy exhibit at New Museum Los Gatos, aka NUMU.

Scholar artists from throughout Santa Clara County have been requested to interpret the theme “Dreamscapes” for his or her ArtNow submissions. ArtNow, the annual juried highschool artwork exhibition and academic program offered by NUMU, will likely be on view on the museum April 4-July 20.

Among the many 83 highschool college students whose art work was chosen for the exhibit are Saratoga Excessive Faculty freshman Olivia Shi, sophomore Clara Choi, senior Amy Pan and juniors Joanne Zhang, Gonzalo Fernandez da Ponte and Celina Ren. Los Gatos Excessive Faculty is represented by juniors Seoyoung Choi, Estelle Paduano and Milla Petersen.

College students have the chance to win awards in eight creative classes in addition to an general Finest in Present and a Folks’s Alternative award. The classes are portray, drawing, blended media, printmaking, sculpture, images, digital artwork and video/animation. Scholarships totaling greater than $10,000 are set to be awarded Could 3, 3-6 p.m.
