Worldwide Longshoremen’s Affiliation (ILA) on Sunday mentioned its 85,000 members, together with “tens of thousands of dockworkers and maritime workers around the world,” will hit the picket strains Tuesday “and strike at all Atlantic and Gulf Coast ports from Maine to Texas.”

Benchmark Capital’s Invoice Gurley reacted on social media to the union’s calls for, writing that the federal authorities ought to step in if the union seeks a complete ban on automation.
