Leighton Meester Breaks Silence on Michelle Trachtenberg Dying

Leighton Meester has spoken out for the primary time in regards to the tragic passing of Michelle Trachtenberg.

The veteran actress, greatest identified for her roles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Lady, died in February on the younger age of 39.

After retaining her well being struggles a secret for years, Trachtenberg died from issues resulting from diabetes.

“It’s devastating,” Meester informed Flaunt Journal this week. “She was a wonderful, talented person, and everyone loved her. It’s very, very sad for everyone who knew her.”

Meester can also be 39 years previous.

Wanting again at Gossip Lady — which ran for six seasons from 2007 to 2012 on The CW — Meester added that she now can see how this system’s legacy “continues — in some ways, even more so than back then — to live on, which is incredible.”

Trachtenberg was discovered useless (by her mom, sadly) in a New York Metropolis house on February 26. The style of demise was dominated as pure.

On Gossip Lady, Meester portrayed the character of Blair Waldorf whereas Trachtenberg performed troublemaker Georgina Sparks.
