NEW DELHI: An encounter broke out between safety forces and terrorists on Sunday in Kishtwar area of Jammu and Kashmir. “Alert Indian Army troops while carrying out an intelligence based operation have established contact with terrorists in general area of Dul in Kishtwar in early hours of 10 Aug 2025,” stated the White Knight Corps in a publish on X. Additional confirming presence of terrorists it added, “Gunfire exchanged. Operation under progress.”Safety forces initiated a search operation within the Dool space of the hilly district after receiving particular intelligence concerning the presence of terrorists. Upon encountering the search groups, the terrorists, estimated to be two in quantity, started firing, leading to a gunfight, reported PTI, quoting officers.(Extra particulars awaited)
