In Harmony, two suspected of driving in stolen automobile concerned in head-on crash

CONCORD — Two individuals suspected of touring in a stolen automobile have been arrested Monday following a head-on crash close to the Kinney Bridge on Willow Go Highway, police stated.

No main injures have been reported within the wreck, which pressured the closure of Willow Go Highway for about an hour.  Police Lt. Robert Garcia in an announcement stated the 2 have been arrested on suspicion for his or her roles in acquiring the stolen automobiles and the actions that led to the crash.

It began when Harmony police tried to cease a automobile that was reported stolen out of Alameda County, Garcia stated. The motive force refused to drag over, sped into a close-by neighborhood and finally deserted the automobile, Garcia stated.

Witnesses informed officers that the driving force hopped into one other automobile that went north on Willow Go Drive after turning off of Landana Drive. Garcia stated that automobile additionally was stolen.

The automobile sped northbound on Willow Go Highway and collided with a southbound automobile because it approached state Freeway 4, Garcia stated.

The collision occurred close to the Kinney Bridge, a good two-lane passage on Willow Go Highway that runs above the Harmony Naval Weapons Station. Garcia stated police weren’t pursuing the suspects within the stolen automobile when it crashed.

Garcia stated the wreck brought about solely minor accidents to these concerned in it. He didn’t say how many individuals have been within the different automobile or how many individuals have been injured.
