Radio host Howard Stern introduced on Monday that he is staying with SiriusXM after an on-air gag left followers questioning about what’s subsequent for the shock jock on the satellite tv for pc radio firm.

Stern is ranked as one of many highest-paid entertainers, with Forbes deeming him the world’s highest-paid radio character, and it is largely due to the numerous contract with SiriusXM that’s set to run out in December.

The Radio Corridor of Famer most lately signed a five-year, $500 million contract with SiriusXM in 2020, in line with The Hollywood Reporter.

Stern, who proclaimed himself the “King of All Media,” started his radio profession in Westchester County, New York, at WRNW earlier than shifting on to stations in Hartford, Connecticut, and Detroit. However Stern’s present opened with a prank staged by Andy Cohen, who joked that he would change Stern with a brand new program referred to as “Andy 100.”

Stern didn’t say whether or not he renewed his contract with SiriusXM, which is about to run out on the finish of 2025.

“Here’s the truth: SiriusXM and my team have been talking about how we go forward in the future,” Stern stated. “They’ve approached me, they’ve sat down with me like they normally do and they’re fantastic.”
