Alphabet’s Google is investing $40 billion to construct new knowledge facilities in two Texas counties.
The announcement, made Friday, stated one of many new knowledge facilities will likely be in Armstrong County, within the Texas Panhandle, and the opposite two in Haskell County, a stretch of West Texas close to Abilene.
“This investment will create thousands of jobs, provide skills training to college students and electrical apprentices, and accelerate energy affordability initiatives throughout Texas,” Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai stated in a press release obtained by Reuters.
