Gates Questions Musk’s Goals for Twitter, Approach to Misinformation

Bill Gates said that he isn’t sure of Elon Musk’s motives in buying Twitter and that social media must play a role in curbing the spread of misinformation.

“He actually could make it worse,” Mr. Gates said of Mr. Musk’s potential impact on the platform, speaking Wednesday at The Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council Summit. But, he said, “That’s not his track record.”
