Bradley mentioned the Chamber hosted a fly-in in D.C. final week that allowed small companies to fulfill with lawmakers and their staffers to debate their priorities. 

One such enterprise proprietor was Murphy’s Naturals CEO Philip Freeman, whose agency relies in Raleigh, N.C., and makes mosquito and tick repellents utilizing pure substances. Freeman mentioned the shutdown is delaying regulatory approvals.
