DUBLIN — A Manteca resident has accepted a plea deal and a 10-year jail time period in reference to a 2021 crash that killed a passenger in his automotive, court docket information present.

Alejandro Valencia-Torres Jr., 28, pleaded no contest to a vehicular manslaughter cost, in alternate for prosecutors dropping homicide, drunk driving, and hit and run counts towards him. He’s set to be formally sentenced on Nov. 15, information present.

Valencia-Torres posted $75,000 for his launch from jail after a choose agreed to set bail, and has remained out of custody — however with location and alcohol monitoring — for the previous two-and-a-half years.
