Visitors had been unable to go to the Storm Lagoon water park or Disney World’s miniature golf programs on Thursday resulting from hurricane-related closures, per the webpage.

The theme park additionally scrapped Thursday’s cabana and umbrella leases and “Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party,” it mentioned.

“While Magic Kingdom was scheduled to close today, Thursday, September 26 at 6 p.m., we are extending operating hours until 8 p.m. for guests to enjoy more time in the park,” Disney World advised FOX Enterprise.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has declared a state of emergency for 61 counties to assist officers “make critical resources available to communities ahead of any potential storm impacts.”
