D’Angelo handed away following brief battle with pancreatic most cancers

“He was in hospice for two weeks but had been in the hospital for months,” the insider advised TMZ, including that D’Angelo — whose actual title was Michael Eugene Archer — had been battling pancreatic most cancers.

DJ Premier, who collaborated with D’Angelo on the 1998 hit “Devil’s Pie” was one of many first celebrities to precise his condolences:

“Such a sad loss to the passing of D’angelo. We have so many great times. Gonna miss you so much. Sleep Peacefully D’ Love You KING,” he wrote on X.

Every week after his sentencing, D’Angelo was concerned in a automotive accident and was rumored to be badly injured.

He wouldn’t launch his third album till 2014, and whereas many contemplate Black Messiah to be D’Angelo’s finest work, it will even be his last accomplished studio album.
