Criticism for that call carried into the week’s different Idol-related controversy, as many followers criticized Carrie for singing alongside to a Whitney Houston tune on her Instagram web page.

As Parade journal factors out, Carrie crooned together with Houston’s hit “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me),” and the video of her efficiency acquired a really combined response from followers.

“She can’t beat Whitney’s vocals…sorry not sorry,” one consumer added, whereas one other echoed, “She’ll never be Whitney…lol.”

There have been additionally rumors that Carrie can be fired from Idol resulting from followers’ divided response to her first season. Nevertheless it doesn’t look like that would be the case.
