“For them, there was for sure worry and fear of getting in trouble,” McGee stated. “They felt like they had to choose between staying or leaving.”

McGee referred to as this response “unethical,” saying he hopes Haney’s proposed invoice would encourage universities to bolster their medical emergency response protocols within the face of hazard.
