HILLSBOROUGH — Authorities are investigating a reported taking pictures incident close to Hillsborough City Corridor and the adjoining police station on Floribunda Avenue.

“We are investigating an officer-involved shooting in our parking lot,” the Hillsborough Police Division posted Saturday night on social media. “The suspect remains at large.”

A big search operation, with help from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Workplace, is happening, the division stated. Police urge residents to keep away from the world.

In keeping with the updates from HPD’s social media, a Hillsborough Police Division officer was shot by a suspect who entered the station’s rear lot, and the officer was taken to a hospital. The scene stays lively as tactical groups search the world for the suspect.
