Apple to Launch Self-Service Repair Program in Early 2022

Apple Inc. said Wednesday that it has created a self-service repair program which would allow customers to repair their own devices using genuine Apple parts and tools.

The iPhone and Mac maker said Self Service Repair would begin in early 2022 with a focus on the most common serviced modules, including phone display, battery and camera, with additional repair options to be added later in the year.
