Passengers aboard an American Airways jet headed from California to Massachusetts had been delayed Sunday after it needed to abort takeoff.
American Airways flight 2453 was making an attempt to depart Los Angeles Worldwide Airport (LAX) for Boston round 10:35 p.m. when “the crew observed another aircraft on the runway,” the airline confirmed to FOX Enterprise.
The flight was operated on an Airbus 321. It had 94 prospects and 7 crew members aboard, and re-departed later within the night, American stated.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) says the potential harmful state of affairs occurred when AeroLogic Flight 619 “crossed a runway at Los Angeles International Airport without authorization.”

“The closest proximity of the two aircraft was approximately 5,200 feet,” the FAA stated in an announcement.
