WOODSIDE — Firefighters responded to a wildfire Saturday that broke out alongside Freeway 280, authorities stated.
Authorities have been preventing the fireplace close to Farm Hill Boulevard round 5 p.m., and the blaze grew to 2 to three acres by 5:20 p.m., in line with a social media publish from Cal Hearth CZU San Mateo-Santa Cruz Unit.
Freeway 280 was closed within the northbound course starting at Woodside Highway and the southbound course starting at Edgewood Highway, in line with CHP Redwood Metropolis. Authorities weren’t certain when the freeway would reopen.
