Man arrested on suspicion of breaking into Peninsula retirement group

MILLBRAE — Authorities on Friday arrested a Peninsula man on suspicion of breaking right into a Millbrae retirement group and stealing a cellphone and a package deal.

The break-in occurred round 1:15 a.m. within the 200 block of Chadbourne Avenue, in accordance with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Workplace.

The suspect ran from employees members, however deputies discovered him a couple of blocks away, authorities mentioned.

Deputies used video proof and witness statements to determine the suspect as a 19-year-old San Mateo man. A stolen cellphone and package deal had been additionally present in his possession, authorities mentioned.

The person was arrested and booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood Metropolis on expenses of housebreaking and mail theft.
