Delta flight diverted after battery fireplace fills cabin with smoke

Smoke from a battery fireplace led a Florida-bound Delta Air Traces flight to land in Fort Myers on Monday quite than its authentic vacation spot on the alternative coast.

Delta Air Traces Flight 1334 was on its method to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Worldwide Airport on Monday morning however landed at Southwest Florida Worldwide Airport after members of its crew “reported smoke in the cabin,” based on the FAA.

Flight 1334, crewed by six, had been transporting 185 vacationers, based on the airline.

The flight originated from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Worldwide Airport. Atlanta, the capital of Georgia, is the principle hub for Delta and serves because the headquarters for the airline.
