Days after India carried out Operation Sindoor on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, a number of political leaders are elevating questions on the central authorities over the success of the Operation. New to the controversy is Congress chief Nana Patole, who sparked an argument on Wednesday after he termed Operation Sindoor as “children’s video game”.
Regardless of the Centre rejecting the claims of Donald Trump’s mediation within the India-Pakistan conflict, the previous Maharashtra Congress President stated that US President had repeatedly stated that he had threatened each the nations that if a ceasefire just isn’t noticed, he’ll cease commerce and, subsequently, Operation Sindoor was stopped on his directions.
“The ‘sindoor’ of 26 of our sisters was wiped off in Pahalgam but to this day the terrorists have not been caught. Why did the PM not speak about the terrorists who wiped off the ‘sindoor’ of our sisters? That is a question for the people of the country,” the Congress chief added.
He additional questioned the Prime Minister over his international visits and acknowledged that PM Modi goes overseas many times, spending hard-earned cash of the taxpayers of the nation. “At the time of Operation Sindoor, why did not even one country stand with India? People are thinking about this. We still do not know about the Pulwama incident, though it happened in 2019. Modi ji is lying throughout the day, but these lies won’t work before the country now,” he added.
BJP Reacts
Reacting to Congress chief Nana Patole’s comment, BJP launched robust criticism of the grand previous occasion and attacked the occasion, saying, “Congress is hand in glove with Pakistan”.
Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule took to X and wrote, “Congress leader Nana Patole has once again proved that Congress is hand in glove with Pakistan by making objectionable statement that ‘Operation Sindoor is a computer game’.”
“Insulting this operation, which created fear in the hearts of India’s enemies, is not just an insult to our brave soldiers and their valour, but to the entire India. Does this insensitive person have any idea of how much pain the families of our martyrs will suffer due to this ridiculous statement of Nana Patole?” the BJP chief reacted.
“Nana, Operation Sindoor is not a computer game, but it is a brave and courageous action against the terrorist bases of Pakistan. It is a burning tale of valor that will instill fear in the hearts of traitors!” Bawankule added.
