Fireplace disrupts visitors, burns constructing in Los Altos Hills

PALO ALTO – A vegetation hearth destroyed a constructing and disrupted visitors in Los Altos Hills on Wednesday afternoon, hearth officers mentioned.

The blaze was reported round 3:30 p.m. close to the 27000 block of Roble Blanco Courtroom, in line with the Santa Clara County Fireplace Division. Crews arrived to seek out the hearth, estimated to be about an acre in dimension, burning in “light flashy fuels” and threatening constructions.

The hearth was knocked down simply after 4 p.m., hearth officers mentioned. One outbuilding was destroyed.

Web page Mill Highway was closed to visitors in each instructions as a result of hearth, in line with police in neighboring Palo Alto. Round 5:35 p.m., police introduced the roadway had reopened.

Crews had been anticipated to stay on the scene for a number of extra hours, hearth officers mentioned.
