CHICAGO — The Giants haven’t had many ugly losses this season. This loss qualifies as such.

Willy Adames and Matt Chapman dedicated two errors apiece that resulted in 5 unearned runs because the Giants misplaced to the Chicago Cubs, 9-2, on a cold Monday evening at Wrigley Subject.

Adames, who dedicated fielding errors within the first and sixth innings, has now dedicated seven errors this season.
